On October 31, 2009 we purchased a house on 34 acres where we could keep our horses and ride. The house is in Badger Hollow on Grizzly Mountain, just northwest of Prineville, Oregon. The west side of the property borders on the Crooked River National Grasslands, with miles of horse trails for us to discover, and half a dozen of Oregon's endurance ride events are within 45 minutes. We moved into Badger Hollow on December 21, 2009 with the help of our good friends Molly and Paul (fellow endurance riders), and are in the process of settling in, building the barn, and running fences.
